THE BONDING

They win medals for the country in each Olympics

They have become legends in various fields

They are THE BREED apart

From the rest of the citizen though, even today!

The disposition of God

And the geographical factors are to be blamed

For it wasn’t their fault at all

To be born as they were

They have been bought and sold

Used and slaughtered like animals

For centuries together and even today

For being THE BREED APART!

As centuries got modernized

The breed excelled

Became more talented

Yet, they are considered as second-class citizen

They are the same

Just like all of us

The bonding though

Could never bridge the gap

The racism factor

Have made them more determined

In spite of widespread education worldwide

The invasion of globalization is far from their reach

They are breaking various records

In the field of track and fields

They have made their mark

On celluloid and music scene too

In spite of their success stories

Heartening though is the fact

Unless God and geographical factors join hands together

The bonding, will it ever exist between us?
