Ode Sore Toes

When shoes and feet have a serious fallout, then it is time to part ways.

When we first met

I thought it was for real

We looked good together

Especially in public

I thought our fitting was snug

Then the bitter betrayal

I took you for a public walk with Totalsport

Just 5km I promised you

Then we could be alone again

But no, you had to deceive me

You pinched my toes

You caused me pain

You made me bleed

You caused a gaping wound

Now we have to part!

The pain of a broken heart is nothing to the pain inflicted by an ill fitting pair of shoes. You have highlighted this tramatic situation with all the drama that it deserves.
A sweet and funny poem,
A poet with sense of humour, you won't last long here
cheers

Thanks Jane - I see your roots are very deep in some circles. Would you have prefered dry wit?
Maipenrai - Thanks for the response :grin
