Contentment
By Faerieanna
16 August 2007

Just a moment on my recent holiday that I wanted to try and capture...

I sit at the edge of the pool,
Dipping my legs into the dimpled blue,
Watching the sunlight
Shimmering, dancing
Across the surface
Gathering around my legs
As I swing them,
Feeling the sun's soft caress
Warming my back
My shoulders,
Pure healing energy
The cool water at my feet
Creating balance.
Contentment.

Wonderful

You can feel all the sensations from the words of your poem. Really lovely. If anyone reading your poem hasn't done this very same thing - what a shame. It is a wonderful thing to do - so relaxing to body and soul.
