The Maiden Obsessed With Shakespeare

Some say that Shakespeare's work is just a load of well known quotations strung together to make a story. Well two can play that game. (but nowhere near as well)

For love unrequited the maiden did weep,

If you have tears prepare to shed them now.

With pain and tears I live each day somehow.

"Were I as patient as the midnight sleep."

Oh hang this love, for I’m not without doubt.

"Why talk of hanging, art thou feeling bold?

Remember, All that glistens is not gold.

Hang nothing but a calf’s-skin, Oh sweet lout."

She was obsessed with the Swan of Avon

But we made for the inn, This happy breed.

"Upon what meat doth this our Caesar feed?"

"A clip-wing’d griffon and a moulten raven".

But that of coward hares, hot goats, and venison!

The choices of meats, as you see, was varied.

The waiter chided, as we ordered squid.

"Hang ye, gorbellied knaves, are ye undone?"

Art thou extracting the urine with this one?

Very clever. I'm really impressed. You obviously know your Shakespeare [or googled a good site]
You put those famous lines together very skillfully but ....a quiet word in your shell-like, sweetie, It doesnt actually make any sense, does it??
cheers

Thank you Jane and Mr. Batty for your comments. I know it makes no sense Jane, but then it is meant to be a nonsense verse.
