life equals waves rushing the rocky shore
unaware of the impact at the end of the line
as we drift happily through our given time

sometimes overpowered by the coming tides
we take careful steps not giant strides
never knowing the directions were taken to

always fearful of what is intended for us
never knowing the meaning as such
our lives are but waves rushing to a imminent end

and have only two little comments. Last line of second verse 'were' is meant to be we're, or we are?
Last line of last verse, should be 'an' rather then 'a'.

Apart from those two minor faults it is a good poem.
