Beggar Child
By maipenrai
21 August 2007
He pointed
like in a accusation,
no guilt in his mind
no compassion either.

we kept on drinking.
a shy glance or two
at the object of his anger,
should we interfere?

the conversation flowed,
the booze even more
best forget
the beggar child.
