This is just me testing out a new piece of scriptwriting software (Celtx) to see if the formatting carries over here at GW better than the Word templates I was using. Seems to... if you're into that kind of thing, Google "Celtx" and download it; it's free.

          THE PARK

          Everyone goes zipping by. The park sucks. No one wants to
          be there. But there's some dork sitting there on a park
          bench.

                              IDIOT
                    I wonder why the park sucks.

          Some other schmuck arrives, with a big balloon.

                              SCHMUCK
                    It sucks because you're here.
                    That's why.

                              IDIOT
                    Them's fightin' words!

                              SCHMUCK
                    How could I say no?

          Schmuck pulls out a gun and blows Idiot away. Suddenly the
          park doesn't suck. People instantly fill up the park.

                              SCHMUCK
                    What a glorious day.
          END.

Thanks for letting us know about that. It looks as if it works well as a formatting tool. I think the plotline facility leaves a bit to be desired, though. I expect it's American, where senseless homicide is more of a spectator sport.

I thought this was a brilliantly executed comedy script of a quality that is sadly lacking in the genre.

In my not so humble opinion I think andybyers is the coming man. The title alone was worth the entrance fee.

Good stuff. Keep up the good work.
