Time Waits For No-one
By EmmaSparrow
21 August 2007
This is about having to move on, because we don't know how long we will have left.

The glass shattered on the floor,
like all hopes and dreams,
whats the point of it all?
We sit and watch time go by,
wondering what if and wondering why,
but time waits for no-one,
not a soul, not even God,
so what can make it better we ask?
Love, life, thats all we've got.
For the person that never happens to,
should they live life that way?
Should their past and present haunt them,
until eventually they fade away?

I get what you are trying to say but it has been said before. If you could make some new comment on it or take a different approach, so we stop and think about the arbitrary and transitory nature of life You need to go beyond cliche to engage the reader.
Also our past can haunt us but I don't see how our present can, it's now.
cheers
