Everything’s said and done.

Odd now that I sit at my computer thinking of you,
yet no keys are pressed no words come out.
Everything’s said and done.

We’ve flirted and teased,
planned finally meeting each other,
yet no words come out.
Everything’s said and done.

My life is at a crossroads,
I’m waiting for you to take my hand and light my way.
Yet no words come out.
Everything’s said and done.

You want me to call,
yet until we meet what’s left to say?
My feelings made clear our plans made final,
time steadily marching on.
Everything’s said and done.

We talk less and less now,
but don’t see that as doubt or a change of heart.
It’s just everything’s said and done.
