Life, it brings us so much
Leaving us wanting for more
We thirst for knowledge of the things
We don’t know

When we were born
Our eyes were filled with innocence
An innocence I wish I still had
I wasn’t worried about the future
Nothing of the past haunted me

As the breeze brushes my face
I feel the memories of yesterday
The emotions of my spirit
Crying out for help
But I didn’t hear her
I ignored her as did
Everyone else

She is here with me now
I acknowledge her
I am now one person
One spirit
One girl

Welcome to GW. Not a bad start and I'm so glad you don't really have a broken heart - yet why were you crying out for help? I guess that when you are 16 you are facing the adult world and I can understand your cry of help in this day and age. People would say: "Count your blessings. When you see the news tonight, something worse has happened to someone else." Well done
