The Great Library Of ~

Eh, I attempted formating with this one.

While in the Great Library
perusing dusty shelves

I Realize.

Hard won pride

(Dead)

falling off me like a shroud
on cracked marble floors.

Self confidence
learnt from books
brittle pages
crumpling in my fingers ~
not nearly enough.

1. Say what you're compelled to say.
2. Satisfy yourself with it; tighten, polish, notch and carve till it makes you smile.
3. Share it if you wish. If others find merit, consider it a bonus; but write for yourself first and foremost.
4. Eat more chocolate.

I sort of 'got' this one the third time through. I'm with Andy on the first point - but would add, if you're going to share you've got to make us read what you want us to read. I'm not sure I am - but then I'm not always the brightest.

Phil.
