Little Miss Kitty

I am a lost Kitten
a long way from home
I am scared of being
out here on my own

I feel so confused
I've never been out before
the only place I know
is by the back door

I wish someone will
find me and take me home
I don't like being out here all alone

Hello Halina. Glad you tried a children's poem, and such a delightful first poem. You'd need to cut the second line of the second verse down to: I feel so confused - never been out before - because there is one too many words to get the rhythm correct. Then you need four lines for the last verse (as I expect you know) with 2 beats in each line as in the other verses. This is something that is a challenge, yet easy to do. I've done it hundreds of times. Well done.

A good poem, but I agree with Josie, the last stanza should have the same rythm, then it's a realy nice thing.
Sweet poem!
