After a nice hot shower and relaxed on my bed and flipped thru the channels.  Isnt it amazing how you can have over 500 channels and nothing to watch?  Dontcha just love satellite.....me too.  I heard a car pull up then the front door open.  I jumped off my bed and went into the kitchen to find my mom putting away grocieries.  I silently set on the barstool.

"So, you forgot about me did you?"  She turned and cut her eyes at me.

"Yes , and I apologize, did you catch the rain."

"I caught it all mom....even the wind and pouring rain."

"Im sorry honey, I just forgot completely."

"So you couldnt come see if  I hadnt got snatched up by a tornado."

"I am going to have to buy you a car."

"Most 16 year olds wouldnt have to 'catch the rain'"

"I am sorry, if you had a job, you would have a car."

"And how do you expect me to get to this job?"

"Listen, I dont got time to talk about this right now, so go bother someone else."

"But mom, I have no one else to bother."  She sighed deeply, turned, and tossed me the car keys.

"Really."

"Yes really, now go."

"Hell yes." I turned and ran out the front door.  Wait, where was I planning on going? Hmmm, good question.......
