Another haiku. I wonder how many other people in Europe ask themselves similar questions...
They eat potatoes
Whereas we instead eat rice
How Dutch then am I? |

Double Dutch - is that the correct answer? | Written by Fledermaus (3248 comments posted) 20th September 2007 | Hi Josie, The answer is I don't know. I'm partly Chinese, but I always lived in the Netherlands, and hardly speak any Chinese (yet), nor have I ever been to Asia. | Written by Bottleblondesurfer (3331 comments posted) 20th September 2007 | Big question packed into a small verse. I suppose the answer is :-as Dutch as you want to be. It's your choice regardless of others reactions Jane | Written by Phil (6688 comments posted) 20th September 2007 | It is a big question. Well put too. Has the form of a haiku, but I'm not sure it has the spirit. Not a crit, as I liked it anyway. Phil | Rather specious... Oli | Written by Fledermaus (3248 comments posted) 21st September 2007 | Thanks BBS, Phil and Oli. I guess it may have something to do with rediscovering my roots and living in a multicultural society |
