A blackcurrant's lament

Ribena, your name turns my juice to ice.
Ninety-seven per cent of us perish
Before your omnipotent immigrant
Pickers who care not for us,
But cheap lager at the Late Shop.

Ha Ha - All very funny. Now you must read mine above. PS Phil: Are we the only ones sitting in on a Saturday night writing rubbish for entertainment? Is everyone else out at concerts, or, in Ilkley - an educational evening at one of the Ilkley Literature events? Hm - what does that say for us?

Rubbish Josie? - I'd be offended if I didn't agree with you!

I had all my fun this morning.

Very clever this one. I read a few months ago, that in Australia they had retested Ribena as a school exercise and found that it contained only a small fraction of the Vitamin C it claimed. But I think it is still a pretty good source of antioxidants - and I thank the comnipotent immigrant pickers, whom we don't appreciate half enough.
