Josie, Josie
By Phil
10 October 2007

Just think of Yorkshire Josie. Always does the trick for me.

Josie, Josie, are you cosy
‘Cross the moors in Yorkshire’s bosom?
You might have guessed the weather’s wet.
Rain again to west of heaven.

Yes Phil, you are right. It has been like heaven here in Yorkshire with the autumn colours and sunshine, but the sun always comes out in Lancashire too when I visit my two little grandchildren in Clitheroe. I think we get less rain here because we are surrounded by hills north, south, east and west, and they bring it down. On the way it drops rain on you in Lancashire before it gets here. Thanks for your verse.
