With a grateful nod to Ogden Nash.
This is a serious attempt to bring attention to the obscenity of eating disorders in the youth of today.
And not at all about me ogling boobs
I think that I shall never see
A cup size lovely as a C.
Perhaps, if models grow more small,
I'll never see a C at all.

I remember a song with the line: ‘Engerland swings like a pendulum do’. No doubt the lyricist had the mature woman in mind when he wrote it. I digress; your poem. Nice to see you joining in with the current trend towards brevity and levity, I’m certain that, were he not dead, dear Ogden would be swollen with pride by your homage. However, I am far from swollen, for all that talk of swinging pendulums causes me to recall not the fine works of Frederic Ogden, but instead the rather unpleasant pieces of Hilda Ogden. Enjoyed, all the best, Steve.
