The Cynic
By BrianRobertNeal
06 September 2005
Cynic:a romantic with broken heart.
Pragmatistm, their smokescreen; hides this truth.
Belief that things should and could be sublime
Places their dismissive comments apart;
From those that accept the lack of all ruth;
For whom life is but vicious pantomime.

Very profound and impressive. I'm not sure what it means exactly, but I think it is good.
Put simply

A cynic still believes that the world could and should be better. So he makes his comments.

Unlike romantics who think it is good and wonderfull or the indifferant who take the world as it is and feels there is no real alternative.

Finally -Circumcision: this I believe is a reference to the religious calendar i.e. Circumcision Day.
