Broken
By amethyst

Fury burns deep within

And Anger so benign does begin

Boils like a cauldron

Seething til it reaches the highest point

Brimming, Overflowing. Cascading, a

Volcanic eruption, spewing words

That never should have been spoken

Never to arise again, a trust that has been broken

Untainted love, untainted loyalty,

Swallowed amongst words as bitter as the coldest winter's day

Freezing the heart so it cannot love again

Snapping, cracking, shattering into pieces

An agonising, excruciating pain

That cannot be mended

For what was once true love

Has now ended

You certainly get the idea of the pain of an ended relationship.
