World's Most Wanted Man Finally Arrested - Planned Atrocity Foiled

Yeah, my experimental phase continues. My first Not News piece.

KABUL (AFP): Reports from the volatile Pakistan-Afghanistan border indicate that the world's most wanted man has been arrested by a platoon of US Special Forces.

Sgt Chuck Petersen of Boise, Idaho was quoted as saying: 'I joined the army to catch this (expletive deleted). Now we've got him hog-tied and we're gonna make sure he gets what's coming to him.'

The soldiers had been on a routine patrol when they heard tinny noises coming from a remote cave. Without waiting for back-up they surrounded it and burst in.

They were not a minute too soon. Their prey was on the verge of releasing another horror on the US, the prime target of his previous atrocities.

'Tupac Shakur's hand was on the computer mouse, just a second away from sending another of his 'posthumous' videos to MTV', reported a Special Forces spokesman.

Had to look him up. Highest selling rap-artist, hm... Never heard of him before. I do think that in the long term gangsta-rap could indeed be more devastating to the western civilization than a certain warlord in the Afghan mountains. Perhaps some countries should first try to restore law and order in their own bad neighbourhoods before they lay waste to other nations...

Never heard of him either, which kind of spoilt the joke a little. Now I know, it raises a smile.

Good to have a final joke, some of the best Not News pieces here have gags throughout. While I liked the concept of this, with a single gag at the end, it feels like a sketch.

Phil.
No suprise
