I'll preface this by saying, what would it be like to walk through walls?

You are alone, subjected to this study.

Eyes stapled shut, select words to guide you,

Experience this awakening

The way I had it forced on me.

There is a world inside you:

Crawl around on the ground to find the key.

Search each crease and corner

In this exhausting mausoleum.

Stand up. Walk to your key.

Open the door and step inside.

Your tomb is a gaping door to reality.

You’re awake this time where you were last;

It was all just a terror in your head,

Revealing your inner fear.

But the same voice tells it to you,

Wraps the fold over your eyes.

You are alone, subjected to this study.

Eyes stapled shut, select words to guide you,

Experience this awakening

The way I had it forced on me.

Gasping for reason like everyone else.

This time your grave is a question.

One question. One question is the key.

What if the next time

You leaned against this wall,

It didn’t stop you?

I'd find it a bit like being an animated luminary abstraction floundering furiously funnelled with eyelids stapled - or perhaps, there again, something different. How about you?
