No I'm deeper
By punchy
25 November 2007

Call yourself deeper? I'm deeper by far
My depth is so deep it could swallow a star
Your deep is so shallow it sunk in my depth
And my deepness now deeper, is the deepest I bet!

I'm sorry that star is as deep as you swallow
My sleep's been upset and full of deep sorrow
That deep as you get and sink as you may
The deepest you'll get is as deep as I say

If deep is the word then
Deeper than though
But swallow I don't
Star of my eye
Back to sleep if I can
In your deepest of depth
Sleep baby sleep
Come like Supernova

How deep is your ocean?
Let me drown in your sea
That I may discover
Just how deep you really can be.

My ocean is not deep and purposely so
Wonderfully shallow and gentle and slow
How else could it rumble and tumble and roar
And make your life’s daydream visit its shore

Its child is for drowning only as such
Whose drowning eyes worship acknowlede as much
How else could it humble and nimble and spew
And bring your life’s senses way back to you

How deep I can be is only a measure
How deep that I am is merely a point
An instant a spark that takes me where you can
Measure the depth of your own soul

Why are you posting poetic replies to me, on punchy's work? Is there something we don't know?

I'm quite happy for you to post poems on my review section but could you make sure that they are not better than mine, it makes me feel inadequate :cry xxx
