Self explanatory
During anti-bullying week, one school tried a new solution.
The bullies were put in the gym with anonymous world heavyweight boxer -------------- where they stayed until 8 pm. They came out vowing never to bully anyone ever again.
Said Jason Blackburn, who received many bruises and a broken arm: “It is an experience I will never forget as long as I live.” |

Besides, where to find a boxer to volunteer? | Written by Phil (6393 comments posted) 1st December 2007 | Bullies, at any level, prosper when not challenged. A novel idea - although quite how the LAs could afford a world champions fee is beyond me. Would an enraged pensioner with a cricket bat do? Worth raising Josie. Put a bully in the ring one to one with someone of his own age and size and let the rest of the class watch his attitude change. My husband said it was very effective. | Written by Bottleblondesurfer (3136 comments posted) 2nd December 2007 | This is one of those "if only" concepts.Nice idea ;though I have to say I believe violence is never the answer, even reciprocal violece, it only breeds more Jane | Written by Josie (2496 comments posted) 2nd December 2007 | | I suffered bullying when I was about 6 years old. I think my answer would have solved the problem. ha ha Seriously, though, it is a really really dreadful thing. I had to leave the school where I went and go on a bus three miles to another school because I couldn't bear it. |
