The Transients

Half a chance,
Winding down an unknown road.
An unquenchable thirst,
Vanquished at the journeys end.
I saw a reflection of the moon,
In a crystal drop of dew.
Unable to focus.
A voice whispers from the trees.
An unreachable memory of desire.

The reflections of the moon, especially on water, always keeps me spellbound. :roll :roll

You've got two typos in there Eric. I think you could make this even more economical by taking out some of the small words and still retain the punch. Worth working on.
Thanks for the read.
