simple pleasures
By punchy
09 December 2007

The smallest of things
the simplest of pleasures
they make our hearts sing
they storm all our weathers
they fill in the gaps
they comfort our strife
they read like a map
they colour our life

The simplest things are those which provide the little rays of sunshine into our life but are often taken for granted and are sorely missed when they're gone. This here poem is a great little celebration of the magic they possess.

Nice sentiments and so true... Nice structure as well, quite unusual, which adds to the experience.
