The Cross
By maipenrai
15 December 2007
They wore the Cross
up on their shirt
just for once
they wore the
the cross,upon their shirt,
the Crusader Cross, at
least that's what they say
in Turkeyland,
an insult,
an insult to Islam
once again,yawn,
yawn, yawn,
Bravo Inter- Milan,
Bravo
Inter-Milan

Of course we must Not in any way be offensive

I'm assuming this relates to recent events I'm not aware of. This last week's Champion's League games?

Perhaps a point worth raising - but it does have a slightly hectoring tone - which kind of negates the message.

Seems the Islamic world is more obsessed with crosses than the Christian world. Just like this silliness about the red cross or red crescent. Those are NOT religious symbols...
Had to look Milan's colours up.

Phil, Flermaus thanks for your comments.

good point Phil.

this relates to a recent game that Inter-Milan played v
Fenarbache, Inter wore white shirts with a large red cross on the front.
they are, so I have read being sued in Turkey for insulting Islam by wearing the "Crusader Cross".

the game was played in Milan not Istanbul.
