The humble alchemist

Brewing over his brews,

Performing transmutations

For a godly assemblage.

Ranks of messengers

And guardians and saints

Crowding around,

Joined by the dark brethren:

Jealousy with humility,

Vengeance with clemency;

Elements of a greater plot.

Pyramid points to the goal.

Boiling down the ladder,

Transform nature’s recipes

To aid in the ascent.

Manipulate the sixth spoke

To reach further inside,

Til the inside reaches out.

I’m scouring the forest

For the phosphorescence:

The sacred hidden gems,

Manna of the seraphim.

I will rise above the throng,

Conquer good and evil,

Hold the cosmic gradient,

Then pitch it all away.

These are just tempers,

Juxtaposed side by side

In divine grayscale spectrum,

Between Josh and Lucy,

Holding this reality together;

Created, maintained, destroyed.
