I have been quite busy revising for my AS-Levels module exams and hadn't much time to write any poetry. However, I spared a couple of minutes to write this one... it is about love and affection! I know the rhythm is not well thought through but the meaning is great...(in my opinion anyway!)...
Our world is consistently gyrating
Not knowing if we end up sound
How do we know its love we created?
As for love there are no bounds
They say we know not of love’s meaning
But I know that content is my forte
When two lovers have potent passion
Then that’s when their world is cosseted
They cosset it from abhorrence around them
Their loquacious eyes express undying love
Alongside nature's exquisite and eloquent roses
For nature is curtailed without love and affection
Drunken love is all that is dearly felt
Oblivious of the world we live in
Love is when one adores another
With ardour and all that it brings

The poem in general comes across well, but I had trouble with the third stanza even when re-reading, especially the first two lines =/ anyhoob, good luck with modules!
