My view of the cities we live and work in.

I stand in front of the never ending chain
it's supposed to be a new street, but I'm here again
One after the other, they line up like guards
removing the carnival spirit, shard by shard
Closing my eyes, I can recall the shops from hell
they'll be the same as your city, where ever you dwell
Oh for the originality
where has it gone?
I don't like coffee
so I must be wrong
Pockets of creativity are driven deep underground
go hide in that corner, and don't make a sound.

Your 'spot-on' with this one. I think it is a good theme, well portrayed. It reads well too.
