I came with all your hopes
I came to share all my love
I came knowing that you have welcomend me
Your hopes, as the world awaited my arrival
From the day you created me I was special
Although I was second in line, you loved me as ones own
I felt every Heartbeat, and the love kept me warm
I heard your thoughts
I know how much you wanted me
I know how much you prayed with joy.
I know I was one of a Kind
But all I could do was bring you pain
A child that was to be full of joy
You gave birth to me and I heard your joy
Yet I was not ready for this world
I gasped my last breath in your arms
Your tears shared my grief
It is here I leave my love
And a gift
A child so precious
Hold her in your arms
For I'm now with you |

I'm no judge but to me this is more prose than poetry. | Written by Phil (6951 comments posted) 7th January 2008 | The GW editor seems to have stripped all the line breaks from this. You might want to check it yourself. I'l come back when it's sorted. Try it again, or post something shorter so that you understand how the system works; for it IS a bit puzzling when you first arrive. PTV |
