Phone Rage

If you've ever been stuck on a bus or a train with some idiot who'se having a loud conversation on their phone that you just don't want to hear, then this one's for you!

I have tried not to listen.
I have tried to politely cough.
But now I have a machine gun,
So turn that bloody mobile off!

Yes I have, and even in the compartment which clearly states "Do Not Use Your Mobile in Here" - they still do it, or they go and stand in the door entrance to this compartment and talk loudly to the unseen figure. One man was doing a business deal over the phone, and any competitor could have done really well by getting all his business details and putting in a better offer. ha ha. Another was arranging for someone to call at his house and was telling him the days he would and would not be in - a burglar would have liked this. Another one was jotting down some details?????? Oh no!

Hahaha. Liked this a lot.
I think some of them just have to compensate for something, especially those who are making business calls. I guess they have very boring lives and uninteresting jobs and want to appear as if they are something after all by letting everyone know every little detail.

In North America, it's called a cell phone. I will enjoy hearing of the different terms used. Mobile. UM!
The poem would relate to many. for although a great invention in times of stress, they can be annoying little things. :upset

Liked this little piece, I think many of this type are just trying to let you and the rest of us know how "importent"
they are, maybe they would be better getting out more.
