This is a tongue-in-the-cheek answer to Josie's claim that Yorkshire poets are best!!!


Will I start a new North/South divide??


I've put the armour on!


What nonsense that Josie does spout
Yorkshire's poets just don't have the clout,
They are tanked up on ales,
As they stagger the Dales,
Proclaiming they're God, I've no doubt!

I love the fact that all of a sudden its the Yorkshire people who are the ones who are always drunk and not the Irish....when did this view of stereotyping come about??? 
 
And yes, I'm from the Yorkshire Dales, so I know I'm biased on this one....but us Yorkshire lot are far better than those dam Lancastrians o'er yonder hill....eh Josie?

I think Freddie 'Flintstone' had a lot to do with it, and the Yorkshire cricketers generally!

By Freddie "Flintstone", are you refering to that awful drunken cricketer who cost England the chance of World Cup glory.....and is Lancastrian...
