a bit of fun...do you ever feel that uo are two people...running very, very different lives! Sometimes I want to tell everyone around me what's going on in my life and others I'd prefer to keep quiet and give away nothing! Hope you enjoy!

I never knew I was nochturnal
Or perhaps a shady drifting creature that clings to day
And yearns for night
and always wants to play.

Strange how the buttery sunshine makes my eyes glaze
Sweet as sugar kisses on my shoulder
I fall all the way back to midnight blue.

And the dawn chorus
Bitterly out of tune, but productive, positive
Calls in the seductive swoosh of caught breath to the ear.

The hum drum becomes fun
In an optimistic rhyme
The lazy idle banter filled with anticipation
When brushing shoulders is enough.

Such a shifty character, I'd easily shout from the rooftops!

I'll do better sifting between dark and light
Living on both sides of the moon.

in retrospect i think the last line's rubbish....the last couple of post have all been very much work in progress! I generally write from my office and get the urge to write...I'm sure everyone knows that feeling!

Are you a Gemini by any chance?

I really like the last two lines. We are all more than one person, different people to different people, aren't we?

You've put it well.
