not a "proper poem", just a small tribute. John Stewart died recently
not a name that is famous in the UK,
John was a man who loved his country,
loved the people of his country
you can see that in his songs,
he wrote about ordinary people
his words heatfelt and sincere,
his most famous work?
"Daydream Believer"
RIP John Stewart. |

Just downloaded the chords to Daydream Believer and sang along with some dodgy guitar playing. Shame. Nice to write a tribute. Phil. | Thanks Written by maipenrai (784 comments posted) 4th February 2008 | Phil, he was one of my favourite singer/ songwriters, got a lot if not most of his work on cd's. Lovely tribute, well earned. | Hi Written by maipenrai (784 comments posted) 5th February 2008 | Audrie, thanks for your comments. Bernie |
