Just a little, hopefully humorous thing. The Leopard That Changed It's Spots There was once the Leopard that changed its spots. He thought it was so dull to always wear dots And thus he had them traded, for what - guess you might, But time is of the essence, so I’ll tell you – stripes. No more was he the Leopard with strange colouring, But just a simple Tiger – how quaint and boring. There’s not much worth in a poem that ends with no gist: Most spots* are more compelling without fearsome beasts. * Spot – noun: 1. a comparatively small, usually roundish, part of a surface differing from the rest in color, texture, character, etc.: a bald spot. 2. Usually, spots. places of entertainment or sightseeing interest: We went to a few spots to dance and see the floor shows.
