Unloved
By sarahh

As you stand there,
gleaming like a idol.
This curse you put on me,
I can not conceal.
I find myself attracted to you,
and this I cannot help.
I plead to the heavens let
it be someone else, let me love another.
I scream till I turn blue, why does it have to be you!
The one person in this creation that I must fall
for. It's you I want, it's you I must have.
The one person that doesn't love me back.

As I look to the stars, with the tears in my eyes.
I should be off thinking on tabloid headlines and
issues that concern the world the future to come.
But my thoughts only turn to you and I ignore the
other tragedies of our own mistakes.
I reflect on the day I last saw your face and heard
your sweat but pursuant voice.
I look in the mirror and envision myself beside you,
but I know in my mind it cannot be.

Wouldn't life be much simpler without emotion?

Your text is very small and I think you have put 'sweat' instead of 'sweet' on the last but three line.
