Dragonfly, dragonfly
Shimmer-bright
Dipping, diving
In dappled sunlight.
Hovering silent over silver pond,
Alighting on filigree-fragile frond.
Dancing, entrancing
My jaded eye,
My sore soul lifts
As you zigzag by.
