Friendship is under-rated in the modern world I think. Something I wonder about now that Valentine's day is approaching. Why do people refer to a non-romantic relationship between a man and a woman as them being "JUST friends"? I found out that true friendship is much deeper and worthier than so called "romance".

Some nice quotes. Especially the second and the last ones.

I realise that English is not your first language but even so I don't think you have thought it all through.
A friend cannot be more beautiful than life. If you are not alive you cannot have friends.
We all have our definition of Friendship. You cannot set out a standard. I'll give you my quote :-
"Trust no friend without faults"

Hmmm. I don't see the point of this. Just to post some meanings of friends?

I will say that most adults have very few friends. I mean good, close frineds. My best frined and his wife can drop over to my house and if I'm not home, let themselves in, pop open a couple of beers and turn on my TV to wait for me. (He has a key.)
When I get home I'm happy when I see his car out front and to know that he is here. My wife and my friend get along well and that makes it nice.

You have some good ideas here. For instance, I liked the one about friendship being no punishment and the other one that warns against trusting pepole who seem faultless. I tell you, I can relate to these two from personal experience!

Language wise though I think you could work on the text. For example, you don't need to describe a true friend as 'rare' if you're about to say they come once in a lifetime. It's already self-explanatory. Also, friends don't 'get away'. It doesn't make sense I felt. Maybe you could have written something like 'if you lose them instead'.

Why not try to rewrite, this time expressing your thoughts in original wording and steering away from cliches as much as you can.
