For stories of up to 3,000 words on any subject or theme. Prizes: £300, £200, £100, and 20 finalists invited to awards ceremony. Judges: include Sara Davies (executive producer, Radio 4). WRITE A STORY FOR CHILDREN COMPETITION

For stories of up to 2,000 words suitable for children by writers over 18yrs that have not previously been published for profit. One entry per person. Prizes: £2,000, £300, £200. Thanks for the info. I had a story that met the criteria so I have sent it off. Good luck to anyone else entering.
