Memories of my life flash like lightening,
in my narrow eyes I see the future.

The edible words that cannot be spoken,
my pen acts as my crooked voice and
scribbles my messages of hope and peace.

The moments come and pass until the end comes.,
it draws closer, brings signs of warning and tranquility.
A sense of harmony runs over the world like courier
with no breaks and will not stop until the message
is sent.

Towered over me the skyscrapers are about to fall.
Bricks and lies fall from the atmosphere,
they leave everyone indoors beaten and bloody.
destruction leaves everyone in peril except the
butterflies, they are perfect.

I will admit I'm no poet and am often left confused by some poems and so it is here. I just don't know what you are trying to say, what truth or message you want to pass on. I like the first two lines but after that is seems like a lot of disparate images.
And I'm sure that if a piece of falling masonary fell on a butterfly it would definitely be in peril; some bits you haven't thought through.
cheers

Like most of my other poetry, it only seems to make sense to me but I hope I can clarify some of the odd bits in this poem. First of all I made a huge mistake rearranging my poem, the last two stanzas should be reversed and I will fix that.

The scribbles of my message is in the now third stanza, and it is being delivered by a courier, or the spirit.

The message is for the people who are having hard times in their lives "The moments come and pass until the end comes,"

The forth stanza a little confusing, the skyscrapers is a metaphor of life and it leaves everyone indoor "beaten and bloody", kinda meaning the got the worst of life ending because it was unexpected, if they don't get out much then, I don't see they can know anything.

And the butterflies are the highest level of life you can get to in Buddhism religion. The better person you become the higher you can get to being a butterfly.

I usually don't explain my poetry because usually I can't find the words to explain it myself. I hope this helped unraveling my mind. But probably not.

Yes I think I understand it a bit better. The trouble is I tend to take things on face value and as poetry often hides its meaning I do struggle a bit. I didn't know about the butterfly, very interesting especially as we have a Buddliea bush in the garden
