CANDLES IN SOWETO
By Rattle_Spear

Imagine parts of London in darkness on average three times a month.... Nobody accepts accountability for the problems.

I've been invited to a funky party,
There are candles everywhere.
White ones, green ones, yellow ones ""Oh,"" so bright,
They come in all shapes and sizes,
To light up the darkest night!

They are so romantic and colourful,
I am in the middle of the rainbow nation.
How jolly, Christmas is here again,
The flickering of the candles,
Takes away the hunger pain!

The aroma is so soothing to my nostrils,
The pangs of hunger are now gone.
The residents did not pay their electricity bills,
Yet the party is set to go on 'till dawn!
