Six of us wandered

Tubed our way to Oxford street

Pushed down a Soho lane

And ended up in a Chinese town

I ate lemoned chicken

And looked out the restaurant window

Tubed to the hill

Passing the tower

I lamented

The dead mens deaths of my homeland

As a party boomed in the grounds

With casual steps we crossed the bridge

Looking into the brooding Thames

We moved on

The warm London air

Left me feeling open

Distanced me to wander

What a city it is eh? Must say it has a certain atmosphere and you captured it well in this poem.
