To be me
By punchy
09 March 2008

Another positive, feel good poem for little ones or big ones.

When I look up at the sky
 and look into a cloud
Gliding into pictures
 dancing without sound

I know that I am happy
 Happy to be me
The things I see and like ,make me
 Happy just to be

When I hear the lovely things
That my friends and people say
and the music,songs and laughter
All the sounds that fill my day

I know that I am lucky
Lucky to be me
The things I hear and like, make me
lucky just to be

When I feel inside my tummy
A butterfly type smile,
When I feel that I am loved
When I feel that I'm worthwhile

I know that I am special
I am lovely and I'm free
Free to be myself because
That's who I am
                             I'm me!

Full of glee. Liked it - you really captured a childlike voice.

Good to see you're still around.
