another try at a haiku!

As you know, I know zip all about the construction of poetry, and I understand that my previous effort was wrong, so here is another one about 'natural' events!






                               A Woolly Mammoth
                           asleep under the tundra
                              is preserved in ice.

Nice one! Those paleontologists would love it. One sentence and the linebreaks nicely at the borders of the phrases. Good one.

Fledermaus, the paleontologists certainly get in a tizzy when they manage to find one. 
 
I have a sense of the ridiculous, rather than a sense of humour, hence the daft little haiku!
