Thank you, I'm not a poet, but I got reading about Haiku last night, and I thought 'how hard is that?' :grin then I had a try. :eek this is the end result of eleven writings until 1:30 am. I quit now :x

Well done,Lis my love. One of the better Haiku's I have read. Just a single thought in seventeen wrods. Excellent. :p Love, Bob

but not a haiku - haiku is three lines, with set syllable pattern 5,7,5.

Forget the labels though, it's a sweet image.

It's not Haiku yet, I agree. It may be after another dozen edits. The problem is trying to hold the single thought. I'm enjoying the experience.

Short and clear. Not a haiku indeed, but a clever poem.

Well whatever it is it's a really beautiful image
Why not start your own form. That was 3-4-4-3 Could it be a Diddi-esque?
I don't know why we can't start up new ones.
Shouldn't form fit content, that makes more sense to me.

Yep. Lovely image, captured well. Forget the label and enjoy it as it is.

:grin My own self immortalised in a new Haiku form? It must be the avatar working. :p

Thank you all for your comments, they have been most welcome and have surprised me. I shall leave it alone for the time being.
