my new view of money- MONEY IS A DICTATOR!  Enjoy the truth my friends!

Money, money
Wipe my ass
Money,money
I'm 1st class
Money, money
like it fresh
money, money
eat my flesh
money, money
dictator
money, money
there's no cure
so damn green
money, money
no inbetween
money, money
buys a car
money, money
it goes far
money, money
i'm obsessed
money, money
get no rest
money, money
i'm insane
money, money
spare my brain
money, money
makes me bleed
money, money
never free
money, money

holds me tight

money, money

out of sight

money, money

debt till death

money, money

takes last breath

money, money

pain & strife

momey, money

took my life

money, money

coins and bills

money, money

buys me pills

money, money

evil eye

money, money

suicide

You are right to a certain extent, but we do need enough to live on, to buy the bread we eat, a roof over our heads and clothes. But money can be, like alcohol and drugs, addictive, and people think they cannot be happy without it. I pointed out in a poem tha I wrote that money doesn't bring happiness, but neither does poverty. As with everything, there must be something in between.
made me laugh

It was fun. Money has a powerful hold on most of us, and controls us in more ways than we are aware of. I think when we give it up (I'm not talking about throwing the lot away!), it loses power over us, and we experience freedom we haven't known before. Enjoyed it.

Yes, Josie, I understand that money IS a necessity, but it really does control the world. IT IS NOT PEOPLE WHO CONTROL THE WORLD, BUT MONEY! It only seems like people do so, because they HAVE money (and lots of it too!). I'm happy to hear that it was also amusing as well. I just came up with it one night on the way home, and my mom said it was true. my brother didn't quite get it, but for goodness sakes, he's only 7!
Now, the first little rhyming stanza thingy:
money, money
wipe my ass
money, money
i'm 1st class

it refers to people who are so rich, they could wipe themselves with all of their old bills.

Just found this

Just came across this tonight. Really good, definately enjoyed it. And the message is ofcourse a powerful one. Money corrupts. And we need to ask ourselves who really controls our countries. The governments? Obviously they have great power. But big powerful companies with all their wealth have a huge stranglehold over governments. It is often they who can decide major decisions through their huge influence. We can vote in presidents and prime ministers, we don't elect the chairman of these companies. So I could relate to the different interpretations of money being a dictator. It can control us, as individuals, but it can also control our countries as well.
Great stuff, really enjoyed it TurboWolffe
Thank You!

really liked the message,
and saying money over and over in my head made it sound funny.

some parts didn't conform to the rhyme you got going, but hey, thats poetry.
