Who are you?
By Fledermaus

Anonymity

Allows people to play games,

But I'll wait and see.

It can be a guess

Of a stranger I don't know

Or a brilliant joke.

Names give things away,

But your writing must convince.

I shall be cautious.

詩人,你是誰?

是朋友還是別人?

你是哪一位

A mystery. I hope it proves to be a worthwhile corresondence, and not a joke.
I'm looking at you - can't you see me?

I've tried to explain to you who I am in the poem above: Always be on your guard -----whooooooo! You never know when I'll be looking at you!

Thanks Jean and Josie.
Let's say this is a gut reaction to a strange poem that appeared on this site just yesterday. If it is written by a stranger, I am flattered by his or her concern. If it is not a stranger, I have to think of a more suitable reaction.
Ambivalence

Het spijt me daarvoor.

Thank god for on line translators. It's like a soap opera!

For the record - liked the first the best.

Thanks Phil.
My apologies for some of the untranslated things. In real life I suppose it would be very impolite to have such a conversation, but both of us had good reasons to reply in Dutch.
