The Dizzy Weathervane
By halina

Blow wind blow
wild and free
The weathercock is feeling dizzy
and the owl has fallen out of the tree

The long green grass is swaying
from side to side
Rabbits are desperately searching
for a safe place to hide

A storm is coming, a rumbling of thunder is near
and the sky is turning grey
lets hope that tomorrow
brings a  much brighter day

Hello Halina. Nice to see you back on GW. I liked your little poem about the wind. I think children would laugh to think of a weathervane feeling dizzy - and so do I.

A poem or a song? Especially the first two stanzas flow so well I imagine they could be sung.
