Why not | Written by stevetroster (1549 comments posted) 22nd March 2008 | “Get the designer habit!” A wonderful line and highly probable, given time. No doubt it will be a couture collection by Christian Lacroix. All the best, Steve.

I must try to dig it out. Enjoyed this , and the cosmopolitan one , very much . patterjack | Written by Bottleblondesurfer (3298 comments posted) 23rd March 2008 | i'm guessing a tanka is like a Haiku. I did like this. I thought the clever play on words owed more to Tom Lehrer. I wonder if the poem patterjack's thinking of it "Poem for national LSD week" by McGough

The hypocrisy of the church and some of its members can be staggering sometimes. Reminds me of a quote by Ghandi: "I like your Christ, I do not like your Christians. Your Christians are so unlike your Christ." Well done | Written by Phil (6645 comments posted) 23rd March 2008 | Not clue what a tanka is - but I liked this. Also educated. Looked up Lehrer and the McGough poem. Phil

In the Stephen Fry book he says all the other rules are too complex to explain. However, to my mind it is like a haiku but allows a little bit more space to paint your picture. |
