| The man | |

|
The dampened heart of a thoughtless fool
Is all that's left of the man
Cold inside without morality and limits
Just seeking the pleasures of life
But life's jewels are not of flesh and bone
Or heightened thrills to search
More of goodness and taking breath
Sharing and giving time, listening, thinking
He is now more alone in company than by himself
His guilt spoils him to transparency
Yet still he seeks those pleasures
As though they are his values
Tarnished are those he found
Captured in the invisible net
Hooked and drawn in unknowing
Themselves then searching for the pleasure within this sin
They too become damaged or broken
And have new values imprinted
Choice begins, fight or fall
And now will they seek those same pleasures they searched for
To make sense of it all
